Rangers walk for life!

10/4/22 - Rangers and Angels! Remember Walk for Mankind? We are starting a Rangers Walk For Life, which starts Sat, Oct 15th, at 9am at LaFortune Park.  We'll begin in the main parking lot on Yale Ave.  As we age, our health risk factors increase. Let's avert, stall or improve these risk factors by walking!

Stacy Huggins Boyd has accepted the challenge to lead this important endeavor.  Our walking locations will change over time.  So get your tennis shoes out of your closet and onto your feet!  Bring a spouse, buddy, Ranger or Angel.  We can enjoy a cup of coffee, lively chat and read the paper afterwards across the street at Starbucks.  See you all on Oct 15th at 9am!

New photos and football videos added!

9/27/22 - We finally updated our photo gallery and football videos page, using the latest technology to ensure compatibility across all platforms.  We now have pictures for most of our reunions and a few special events, so check it out!

First 50th reunion event for Nathan Hale class of 1975 a "Homerun"!

9/20/22 - For the first time, Bears, Bobcats, and Oilers became Rangers. We decided to celebrate that moment in time to begin our 50th reunion celebration party with our first E.P.I.C. event at a Drillers baseball game. With plenty of hot dogs and fireworks, everyone had a great time!

Announcing our first Rangers For Life Event THIS September 18th, 2022!

8/23/22 - Join us to watch the final home game of the Tulsa Drillers and enjoy a meal with old friends. Why are we celebrating three years early? Because 50 years ago this fall, Bears, Bobcats, and Oilers became Rangers, and that is worth throwing a party over.

You don’t have to love baseball to come and have a good time. If you have never been to a reunion event, this is the time to reconnect. The price per person is $25.

50th Reunion planning off to a great start!

8/5/22 - Planning for our 50th class reunion has already begun with the appointment of Mark Brooks as the new Chairman for our 50th Reunion Committee.

Although we missed our 45th Reunion due to Covid, we will be making up for it in spades this time around by having many more events leading up to our 50th Reunion in June, 2025. Our working theme will be "Rangers For Life!", rebuilding bonds that last a lifetime.

35-Year Reunion Recap

Our 2010 Reunion was held on Saturday, June 19th, 2010.  Attendance was well over 100 people for the evening event, which was not bad for what many considered an "odd year" (i.e. not a 10, 20, 30 year reunion).  We had a so-so turnout on the golf scramble but a very good turnout for the Tour of Nathan Hale - probably our best yet.  We also had a large number of first-time reunion attendees this time around.  An informal, last-minute lunch was arranged at Coney Islander which many people attended.  We made a little money on this reunion, which all goes back into the kitty for next time.  Who knows, by the time our 50th rolls around we may all get a "freebie".

35th Class Reunion is Just Around the Corner!

Get ready, Rangers of '75!  Our 35th class reunion is just around the corner and it promises to be our best reunion ever!  The 2010 Class of '75 Reunion Committee has been busy planning the event, which will be held Sat., June 19th, with live music by the acclaimed Pam Van Dyke Crosby Jazz Quartet!  Crosby, who is considered one of Tulsa’s music treasures, will present special musical arrangements in her own swinging style. She will be accompanied by a jazz trio of top-notch jazz musicians, including pianist Scott McQuade, bassist Bill Crosby, and drummer Anthony Yohe.

The venue for this year's reunion will be the Stokely Event Center in Tulsa.  Stokely's was chosen for its nostalgic atmosphere and spacious hall filled with neon lights, free games like skeeball, shuffleboard, and pinball, and a fun outdoor area where we can all mingle after dinner and listen to live jazz music.  The food will be catered by Zios Italian Kitchen, rated one of Tulsa's best.  We will have a cash bar with plenty of beer, wine, and four different frozen drinks to choose from.

We put a priority on keeping ticket prices low for this year's reunion by planning the event ourselves rather than hiring an expensive reunion planner.  As a result, ticket prices for this reunion were slashed by over half from our last reunion.  We also looked to be creative and add a lot more fun to the event itself.  We think we've accomplished both!

In May, 1975 seven hundred and fifty young men and women graduated from Nathan Hale High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma to embark on a new chapter in their lives. As time has passed, we have not forgotten the friends we made and the memories we shared during those special years.

This is the official website for alumni of Nathan Hale, Class of '75. Its purpose is to help us keep in touch, no matter where in the world we may be.

Please be sure we have your latest updated contact info even if you don't plan on attending a class reunion.  We would love to know where our alumni are living now.  So please help pass the word about our class website and feel free to make suggestions.  It is difficult to keep up with so many alumni over the years, but hopefully if enough of our classmates find our website, we'll have more and more old friends and acquaintances connecting with each other.  We also have a class of '75 group on facebook and a twitter account.  Thanks for visiting!
